Wilderness Club
Set amongst sandy soils and tall pines in Eureka, Montana, this 18-hole golf facility wraps around Grob Lake taking advantage of the properties rolling topography and scenic mountain views. The course presents itself most notably with its rugged and natural looking bunkers which blend seamlessly into their surroundings of native grass and shrubs.
Bali Hai Golf Club
Located in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, this course features challenging, breathtaking holes in a lush Indonesian tropical setting, The course is a worthy namesake of the famous Indonesian land of enchantment, surrounded by seven-acres of opulent water features, thousands of trees, towering palms, tropical plants, as well as out of play areas accented with bleach white sand and black volcanic outcroppings.
Southern Dunes Golf Club
Located just south of Phoenix, Arizona, this 18-hole course was transformed from a flat site into an Australian links style layout with towering mounds, hollowed valleys and deep, sand-faced bunkering. A renovation was completed to the practice facility that incorporates a six-hole short course dubbed the #minidunes, a "grow the game" initiative.
Amata Spring Country Club
Located just outside of Bangkok, Thailand, this course provides a bold test worthy of challenging the best golfers in the world. The layout boasts a total of 7,450 yards, with high sand-flash bunkers, large undulating greens, intricate chipping areas and water in play on several holes. The 17th hole is particularly dramatic, featuring the first floating green in Asia. Voted as the Best Course on the Asian Tour for four consecutive years by the players.
Chiangmai Highlands
Located in the scenic foothills of Northwest Thailand in the city of Chiangmai, this stout layout boasts a 27-hole championship course that takes advantage of the site's natural rolling topography and integrates around two natural streams which traverse the property.
Siam Country Club
Schmidt-Curley's work at Siam Country Club consists of the Plantation Course, a 27-hole facility and a renovation of the 18-hole Old Course, one of the oldest courses in Thailand. Both courses have garnered extensive world-wide recognition and have each hosted the LPGA Honda Classic.
Clearwater Bay Golf Club
This pristine 36-hole facility is located just south of Haikou, on Hainan Island and provides golfers with two very distinct and stern tests of golf, the combination of which offers a great one-two punch for golfers to enjoy.
Liaoning Gold Time Golf Club
Liaoning Gold Time Golf Club is a spectacular setting for golf, providing a feeling reminiscent of links courses of the British Isles. Located north of Dalian on the Liaoning Peninsula, the course sits on a sandy property along the Bo Hai Sea. The Par-72, 7,200 yard layout incorporated some of the most enchanting elements of links golf, from rugged natural style bunkering, sandy waste areas, sand dunes draped in fescues and artfully contoured fairways.
Siam C.C. Rolling Hills Course
A long standing relationship with Siam C.C. in Thailand continues with completion of its 4th course, Rolling Hills. As is the case with all Siam C.C. courses, the layout is a core design with no real estate elements. Far removed from many of the rugged and natural designs in fashion today, Rolling Hills’s design is a hybrid of traditional elements and natural courses of the past. The course includes a number of unique features including the “Wall of Death”, a 19-foot-deep bunker, intending to create a buzz with visiting golfers and lure those up to the challenge.
Myotha National Golf Club
Schmidt-Curley’s first course in Myanmar opened with great success and immediately was awarded Best Course in Myanmar by Asiangolf Awards. Playing just over 8,000 yards from the tips, this is possibly one of the toughest courses in Asia. At the same time, from the forward tees, the course is quite manageable.
Stone Valley Golf Resort
A 27-hole resort located just south of Hanoi, features stunning views of a site surrounded by towering mountains reminiscent of a King Kong movie set. The course offers plenty of elevation change but within a comfortable tee to green routing that sees an amazing variety of holes.
FLC Quy Nhon Mountain Course
Schmidt-Curley and Flagstick GCCM teamed up to complete the second course at FLC Quy Nhon Golf Links in record time. The new Mountain Course was constructed in four months from the beginning of design to completion of grassing. The course sits high up on natural dunes with spectacular views to the ocean from no fewer than 16 of the 18 holes. A focus on strong, natural fairway movement, transitional bunker edges and surface flow drainage were carried out in the ‘natural design’ theme.
FLC Ha Long Bay
Schmidt-Curley’s second project with the FLC Group is uniquely situated high above the town center on a mountain property that offers epic, sweeping views of Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its towering, vegetated vertical rock formations that rise from the calm blue waters of Ha Long Bay. The course offers numerous green sites with stunning backdrops of Ha Long Bay viewed from high above framed by rock outcrops and mature native vegetation punctuated with pines.
FLC Quang Binh Golf Resort
Built entirely on white sand and described as Pine Valley at the beach, the first two courses of a ten course development are the most natural in Vietnam, and maybe all of Asia. The 2,400 hectare development has over six kilometers of beachfront and could soon become one of the greatest year-round destination golf projects in Asia. Construction of the third course is set to begin soon. The first three courses will be core golf, surrounded by development and the remaining seven courses entirely core golf.
Binhai Lake Golf Club
A 36-hole facility located just outside of Tianjin, China, Binhai Lake features 18-holes designed in collaboration with the legendary golf course architect, Pete Dye, as well as an 18-hole Schmidt-Curley course.
